Minimal Blade and
Firesteel Kit
When
I visited blacksmith Darrel Aune's website, I found two items that
intrigued me. One is a small knife for $10 and a mini ram's horn
firesteel for $15.
I decided to assemble a
minimal blade and fire kit to enjoy. I made a bucksin pouch from left
over scraps, sewn with synthetic sinew. The thin nylon cord and plastic
beads are non-traditional.
The knife comes with a black cord wrapped hilt. I haven't made a sheath for the knife yet.
